Press Release - Tucson, February 8, 2010: The International Colored Gemstone Association announced that the 2011 ICA Congress will be held in Brazil after an agreement was reached with IBGM, the Brazilian Gems & Jewellery Trade Association, to host the ICA Congress in Rio de Janeiro. IBGM is a long-time supporter of ICA and is active in numerous ICA activities.

A decision on the dates of the congress is expected within a few weeks. ICA and IBGM are considering dates in May or June next year. Discussions have begun for planning an ICA mine tour in Brazil immediately following the congress; which is expected to draw many participants.
