Does RapNet® sell treated or HPHT diamonds?
Members may list HPHT treated stones. However any diamonds that have been treated must be disclosed as such in the treatment field.
How do I list my stones for sale
What types of files can be uploaded to the RapNet® exchange?
The file you upload must be a CSV (comma delimited file) with each field delimited by a comma. A Microsoft Excel file should be saved as a CSV file before uploading. The first row should contain the field headers. The upload instructions are in place for all ways you can upload manual or programmatically.

Do I get access to the Rapaport Price List?
Yes, RapNet® members receive the Rapaport Magazine which includes the Rapaport Price List, as well as weekly online price updates.
Can I download other people's stones onto my website from RapNet®?
The diamond listing service is offered to RapNet members, however not all stones are automatically available. Only diamonds of sellers who have approved this capability in their “My Account” section will be downloadable. Members may also specify this service to be available to selected other members only.
How can I change my login?
Members cannot change their username. However, we do allow you to change the name that appears next to your stones which is your name code. In order to change this you need to send an email to rapnet@diamonds.net with a request to do so or contact Customer Service
How do I list a fancy colored stone on RapNet®?

How do I delete one of my stones?
Click on the link “View Your Sell Listings ” in the left hand menu of the RapNet® pages. This will display a list of all the diamonds you have listed on RapNet. Check the boxes of the stones you wish to delete and then click the "Delete" button.
How long does it take updates to appear on the website?
Diamonds are generally available on RapNet® within a few moments of you uploading them for sale.
Can I delete all of my stones on RapNet® at one time?
Yes. Click on "View Your Sell Listings" in the left hand menu of the RapNet pages. On the Sell Listings page, click on the “Select All” button and then click "Delete".
What if I don't want some other people to download my stones?
When you set up your account, please make sure to indicate whether you do or do not want other members to be able to download your stones. You may always change this option by clicking on the "Preferences" link under "My Account".
How do I find stones from a certain supplier if I don't know their login?
You can conduct searches by Country, State, or by inputting specific stone dimensions.
If I find a stone I want, how do I purchase it?
Click on the "Lot#" to obtain the seller's contact details. Buyers and Sellers deal directly with each other unless they request a RapNet® broker to conduct the sale or purchase on their behalf for a nominal commission.
If I find a stone I want, how do I find out the supplier's information?
By clicking on the "Lot" you will be taken to another page listing all the stone details as well as the contact details of the seller. This generally includes telephone, fax and email.
Can I use programs other than RapNet-06™ to upload my stones?
Members may upload any comma delimited file (csv) using our upload service at http://www.diamonds.net/RapNet/lotmanager/lotupload/UploadLots.aspx?PageMode=rapnet. Please see the specifications above.
An alternative to manual uploading is TradeLink. TradeLink is a program made specifically to assist in synchronising your inventory with RapNet. Download and install TradeLink once and from then on it synchronizes both your listings and certificate images automatically without needing your intervention. Are the prices of my stones updated by RapNet® each week to match any price changes?
No. Members need to update their stock and prices. We recommend members do this daily for the best possible results.
Can I add a copy of the certificate to the stone I have listed?
Yes,you can upload files containing an electronic copy of a grading certificate to RapNet. You can do this on a single diamond listing, or bulk upload files through the website or TradeLink.
Bulk uploaded files are automatically matched to diamond listings according to the file name. The file name should be either the certificate number, the stock number, or the name specified in the "CertificateImage" column in the upload file. TradeLink uploads all files from a specified folder.
You can also provide a full working URL in the "CertificateImage" column. This will link will then be available on your diamond listing in RapNet.
Bulk upload can accept zip files up to 100 MB, but we recommend splitting files up in smaller files of up to 25 MB each. A confirmation screen will be showing which scans were matched to which diamond listings. You can delete uploaded certificate scans through the website.

Will RapNet® broker a sale or a purchase?
Yes, upon request, a RapNet broker will broker a deal on behalf of Buyers and Sellers for a nominal commission.

RapNet MessageCenter
What is the RapNet MessageCenter? It is your newly launched personal mailbox on RapNet, allowing you to communicate more effectively with other RapNet members as well as RapNet customer service. You can also send messages to external email addresses of your choice. What can it do for me? Your RapNet mailbox gives you instant access to all the buyers and sellers on RapNet. The RapNet Message Center will help you to easily manage your RapNet trading with one central place to store all of your messages. How can I access the RapNet Message Center? 1. Log into your RapNet account using your regular user name and password. 2. Select “Message Center” on the left-hand menu under RapNet to locate your inbox 3. Use the “Manage Settings” tab to organize your RapNet email and to forward your mail to your personal address How do I send messages? To begin sending a message, click on compose message or on the new message icon and you will be directed to the body of an email. Start by typing any part of either company, member ID or first/last name. After a slight delay, the details of the intended recipient will be displayed and you will be able to click on the desired address. To send an email to RapNet Customer Service, please click on the RapNet icon and the message will be forwarded to us. How do I reply to messages?
By clicking on the reply icon, you will be able to reply to the sender. How do I delete messages? Simply click on the delete icon, and the message will be deleted How do I decide what email must be forwarded to what address? Click on the tab “Manage Settings”. You will be able to decide what messages you would like forwarded to what specific address. For example, RapNet messages can be forwarded to one external email address while you can set buy request or bid received messages to go to another email address. New messages that are composed cannot be sent directly to an external email address. But if you forward a message, you may type an external email addresses in the address to line, which will then be sent. Why is there no address book? All RapNet members’ details can be accessed by typing the first few characters of RapNet ID, company name or first/last name in the address line of the message What are the features of the RapNet Message Center? · You can send and receive messages to and from other RapNet members · Communicate easily with RapNet Customer service · It allows you to store all of your RapNet member messages in one place for easy access · Send messages to an outside email address · You can forward incoming RapNet messages to an email address of your choice What about confidentiality? · Your outside email address, won’t be exposed in the message center · You can block members who send unwanted messages
Customize RapNet
You can customize RapNet with your specific details and settings in a number of ways Add markup to stones that you want to show a customer on RapNet
You can do this by using the Access Code field on the search page. You would enter 100 plus the percentage of the commission you want to add. (Example: If you want to add a 10% commission you would enter 110 in the Access Code field)
Create a custom header for your print pages
You can add your logo, and contact information to printouts from RapNet. Do this by clicking the "customize" link in the custom print page.
Add default markup for custom print pages
You can specify a default markup that should be used in all custom print results This will save you time from entering an "Access Code".
Display different contact information on RapNet
By default we display the contact information as you gave us when you subscribed. However, you can choose to display different contact details to appear next to the lots you are listing.
Do this by going to "Account Settings", and checking the box next to "Display the following information on the web".
